Arcade Cabinets in a Frame
I was asked by a client if i could come up with some ideas for their game room, to create some kind of 3D art pieces based on the arcade cabinets they owned.
After some back and forth discussion on the clients requirements i came up with this concept ... a sort of schematic display that takes a miniature of the arcade game and slices it up and dislays it inside a frame in 3D.
Hard to describe, but here you go ...

Legend of Zelda Hyrule 3D Map Dioramas
These are 3D topographical maps, created inside solid shadow box frames, based on the map from the Super Nintendo Zelda game . Eqach map is painstakingly rendered into 3D by hand cutting the map many times and layering it up to create 3D effect.
The whole map is then housed, along with cutom cut cloud cover, inside a 9 inch square shadow box with gkass front.
I make two different versions .. the regular light world version, and the alternate dark world version.

NES 3D Box Art
I love the design of the original range of "black box " NES games, and an American NES collector asked me to create a series of 3D art works based on said designs.

Amiga Heaven
Growing up playing video games in England in the 80s and into the 90s, most kis at some point would have owned an Amiga! I remember in 1989 seeing Shadow of the Beast running on an A500 for the first time, and being blown away.
Amiga Heaven is the biggest Amiga sales site online, and they commissioned me to create a series of exclusive pieces for them based on classic Amiga titles - i have to admit to getting a little teary eyed as i put together the Shadow of the Beast piece. I could have been ten years old all over again, expect i would not have been allowed to use the super glue or exacto razor blades !
